If you know me, you know that I have had some ups and downs. I have an extensive resume of experience in the corporate world reaching my goals. I lost my mom in 2009, and this changed me, and what I would come to learn was everything about me. You know, you lose someone way before their time and you have no other choice but to take a deep look at yourself and your own life.
Over the last few years, I have chosen a path of wellness. Fitness has always been a part of my life (except for those years surrounding my mom’s care and illness), but true wellness is more than exercise. I have changed my diet and study nutrition daily. I am pursuing professional certifications to enhance these changes. I choose to live deliberately and thoughtfully. I have made changes to be more “green” and make sustainable choices. I am caring for an contributing to the world in which we live, and in ways that were never on my radar. I garden! And it turns out I am pretty good at that too.
So, I consider myself retired from a career in the commercial real estate industry. I have zero interest in being a marketing director, though I have been doing some consulting work with small businesses.
I want to help people! I want to feel good and contribute to humanity. So I am embarking on this career change that will help me continue on my own path of wellness…and I hope you join me!
